Winter Storm Cleanup Restores Peace of Mind
After a brutal winter storm swept through Pasco, Whittier residents faced yards littered with splintered branches, collapsed fencing, and soggy insulation from damaged sheds. The air smelled sharply of wet cedar and mud, and piles grew daily as neighbors tried to clear driveways before spring rains turned debris into sludge. With narrow streets and older homes on tight lots, maneuvering large bins felt impossible—yet delaying cleanup risked mold, pests, and HOA fines.
We rolled in with our compact 15-yard dumpster and a two-person crew familiar with Whittier’s post-war layout. Knowing ranch-style homes often have side gates just wide enough for our smaller haulers, we positioned the bin discreetly near the alley to avoid blocking driveways. Within two hours, we’d cleared three properties’ storm debris, sorting green waste from construction scraps per DEQ guidelines. One relieved homeowner finally hosted her granddaughter’s birthday picnic on a clean backyard patio.
They hauled away two truckloads of mess in one go—I didn’t have to lift a finger or worry about disposal rules.
